I am having intermittent problems with my controls not working i.e. can't control my Air cond, radio etc. At times I have control and the lights comeon but more and more the lights are out and I have no controlover the settings...HELP...it is almost minter and I won't be able to use my defrost!

 

same here, controls on faceplate went out about 5,6 months ago, but was able to change stations with steering wheel. now, they are all dead.
Heard that this is a very common problem with 2003 G35 due to faulty circuit board. Dealer wanted $1500 before even checking it out.
I 'm trying to find a shop where can repair or find a used faceplate w/ circuit board.

 

A controller in the Bose head unit is pooched, I replaced mine at the stealer for 500ish, but you could go double-din or search and find out how to fix the controller. Common problem in all Bose cars, not just our 03 sedans.
