my girlfriend has a 2004 G35 6MT and when she bought it used she never got the remote, I have seen some remotes on ebay for around $27 with programming, anyone has had any idea on how this works? is it worth it? I remember buying one for a lexus car and it never worked. I have some links of the ones that I found.
How do they know the codes to program her car?
How do we know the remote they sell will work on her car?

I bought a remote off of Ebay and it worked fine. They include instructions for YOU to program the remote - its a fairly easy process. It's definately worth having the remote. I think, from memory, I paid less then $20 for my remote though.
