Any way to improve FM reception?
Anyone have suggestions on how to improve my FM signal reception?
Is there any easy way to install a signal booster? If so, will I need to cut/rewire anything, or will it be plug and play?
I have an 08 Maxima that has no problems picking up the same stations, but my G is fuzzy on a few of them. I don't know if it's because the rear windshield in tinted, but I would like to amplify/boost the signal.
This is for a 2004 coupe with the stock bose system.

I found these:

No idea if they work and where to install them? Seems like near the dash, but I was hoping I could access it in the trunk.

Hey I have the same problem after I tinted the rear window with a metalized film. I thought I could getaway with using metalized film because the film was behind the antenna grid on the window but it seems it is interferring with the reception. Anyways I don't listen to the radio much so I didn't bother trying to boost the signal. Keep in mind that our cars use a diversity antenna setup and you'll need adapters to use it with the units from ebay. Something like these http://www.tss-radio.com/nissan-ante...it-p-4070.htmlbut to be sure crack open your dash and look at what it looks like for yourself. The antenna cable hooks to the back of the radio unit. Hope this helps.
