Nav to DVD conversion

As anyone developed a simple switch, harness, etc that will allow the factory NAV unit play DVDs?
If not, is the only option still AV electronics box?
All I want is to play DVD on the factory screen.
Thanks

Re: Nav to DVD conversion

There are 2 units out right now.
AV Electronics seems to be more popular, at $500.
The other one is relatively new and weighs in at $300 or less even.

Then you have to install a standalone dvd-player like several of the indash units we've seen, like the Innovatek FD5 from mp3playerstore.com or the Farenheight unit from crutchfield.com.

There are several dealers here on these forums, please do not advertise your equipment here unless you are an authorized g35driver.com sponsor.

txrefi: Simply do a search on this board and you'll find what you need.

Nav to DVD conversion

Hi Everyone
The mod involves that you cut 4 wires and splice in. There is no plug and play for this car because it does not use standard nissian, infinity connectors.
The mod has 2 inputs 1 for DVD and 1 for backup camera. The unit auto switches to backup camera when you put the car in reverse. Yes the Mod works on the 05 G35 and 06 M35. The RGB mod is $200. If you want to check out our service and quality you can go to

one of the many forums we do group buys on. You will see that we have sold over 100 mods alone on this forum with 100% customer satisfaction.
We have RGB units for every model car and we provide the best RGB units at the best prices around. We will NEVER be undersold. We also offer many plug and play solution. Feel free to call us at 718-763-7367.
