dvd conversion

Hello,

I tried searching but came up with no luck. I have 2 questions. First, how can I get a factory Nav to play DVD's? Second, are there DIY for installing a dvd player into non nav gcoupes with the premium bose package? Thanks for you help.

Re: dvd conversion

Wow... The search function must have been disabled or something - This has been beaten to death.

There is no way that the factory DVD player will play video. It is just not feasible for any reasonable amount of money. I suggest you look in to getting a AV Electronic or something of the like. It will let you have video sources on the Navi screen.

Also, I myself have not seen a DIY article for adding a DVD player to the factory location. There are users here that have done something like that though...

And just quick questions for you: Your asking about getting a factory navi to play DVDs, and then you are asking about adding a dvd player to a non-navi G coupe? Is someone on here lucky enough to own 2 G's ??
