I have searched online and in the forums here to try to find an answer to this questions, but up to this point I haven't had much luck - mostly I think because the 3G Touch is fairly new. But I wanted to give it a try here to see if anyone has had any experience with it before I go ahead and make the purchase.

I'm looking to purchase the new 32GB Ipod Touch 3G, and I have the Ipod connection for my 2008 G35. Has anyone had any experience with whether or not this connection will work? I know that the older 2G touch wouldn't charge, but for some people would play (and would charge with the Scorche adapter). But I'm curious if with the 3G I'll have issues even getting it to play at all in the car.

Any responses are really appreciated - I love the Touch, probably going to get it regardless, just want to know how much I'm looking at to get the setup I want (having to get my old Ipod fixed, etc).
