This sucks kinda They got rid of the cassette, but at least the changer supports mp3. I clean setup. Unfortunately, it still has that god forsaken 8 digit LCD display... but its a nice clean way to get em.. supports WMA files too by the way. This is confirmed from the 2005 Manual linked off Fresh Alloy.

i remember i played one of my cd's that was wma files and it worked....

just checked my usher cd and each songs were 1kb each.
i'm certain i saw .wma on the file before, but i dont see that nomore.

 

FWIW, it's not LCD, it's Vacuum Fluorescent Display (VFD).

Isn't the scrolling a problem with the tuner, not the head unit? The XM does not scroll, but Sirius can scroll some. And the RDS scrolls just fine.

I have a 2004 G35 with six disk and tape and was listening to mp3 files in my car on the way home.

 

That sucks, I just sank $250 into a 20G iPod and I still got it hooked up via a tape adaptor. Oh well, at least the iPod has something like 300 hours of music on there.

maybe he burned the songs[/mp3's] onto a CD, but burned them in music files mode... it could be a honest mistake... but now i gotta go try it out... lol, see ya~!
