A new G35 owner...another bose cd player problem...

So i just bought a 2004 G35 coupe...I am in love, but I have been having a few annoying problems. My girlfriend and I attempted to use the CD player (stock bose setup) and it took the cd fine and recognized it, but when it played it, it just played static. The tracking was good but instead of music it was just white noise. We could change tracks and use all controls, but it was all noise. We never got any errors, and the the cd ejected just fine. I searched the forum for a little while and found that the stock setup has frequent issues but none exactly like the one im having. Any quick fixes beyond replacing the whole thing? I just dropped a bunch of money on the car but it looks like itll take around a $1000 to get the audio where I'd like it, which I dont have right now.

Another annoying problem I am having has to do with the drivers side window. It rolls up and down very slowly and sometimes intermittently. Does anyone know what this is all about and if its something I am going to have to have the dealer fix? My car has less than 40k miles on it.

Thanks guys, look forward to solving lotsa problems with you all.

what ipod connection did you get? Does it hook up to the stock HU? how long does it take to install? I am leaving for a 900 mile roadtrip home in the car tomorrow and would like a decent way to play music

I have the nissan USA spec ipod adapter in my 04 it works great and i can use my steering wheel controls.

Also about the window, it needs to be cleaned. I just fixed my driver side window and cleaned the pas side while i was at it.
