Kenwood DDX-8019 Question or Kenwood OWNERS CHIME IN!

well guys I recently pulled apart my radio to uploaed some images to my unit.....however once I loadead I set the one I wanted as a background but how do I get the background to display only without all of the buttons over everything...basically like a screen saver..is that possible?? Let me know your thoughts and what you think I need to do or if this is even able to be done?

Does it have something to do with my outputs?? meaning AV-1 Etc...

Thanks

I have tried this myself. I dont believe it is possible. The image will display behind the buttons, etc. I have the DNX8120, but I would imagine it is the same.

thats what I was thinking...I was reading somewhere that if you hold the EJect and FUnction Button at start up it will prompt for OEM setup or Kenwood...OEM Setup allows you to change the start up screen....unfortunately mine wont quit trying to eject...lol!

Just E-mail Kenwood. I'm sure they will reply to a customer even if they get that question ten times a day.

Hope this helps
