FINALLY doin a new audio setup...DNX9140?

Ok so I finally sold my old car and with that came a good chunk of cash with which I can finally do away with the ****ty Bose unit...I went out shoppin around to see what replacements I like and I have decided:

It will for sure be a touch screen DVD with navigation
my budget is around $1k (not including the JDM kit)

A friend of mine works at ultimate electronics, there best unit is the Kenwood DNX9140, it retails there for $1399, but he can get it to me for $1100. It comes with the garmin navigation stuff built in, which is a plus, with the ability to expand to all sorts of the other stuff like bluetooth, etc. I also like pioneer's line of touch screens. What do you guys think? Ultimately I will be adding a sub to this setup as well, a nice 10" custom fit into the back...

Basically I want the most bang for my buck, anyone here use that particular kenwood? or recommend another screen in that price range?

At the $1100 price range it really comes down to the 9140 and the Z110BT.

I prefer the way that Pioneer interfaces and controls the iPod a lot more than the Kenwood, so that's what I lean towards. You can get it a little over $900 off of amazon, but not currently from an authorized retailer, so your warranty situation is not anywhere near as good as getting it from an authorized retailer. If you can wait about a month, 6th avenue electronics is an authorized retailer who aggressively prices on amazon. A week and a half ago, before 6th ave ran out of stock, it was $926, and you could do a $200 rebate as well.

No guarantee they'll price it that low again in March, but I'm hoping they do.

I just checked the specs and such on the Kenwood 9960. Looks really, really good, if your friend can get it for you in a couple of months for a couple hundred over the 9140, I'd do it in a heartbeat.
