radio screen cracked, what can i do?

radio screen cracked, what can i do?

ok i dont know how it happened but the screen to the stereo cracked and now dosent display anything but still works. can i just change the screen or do i have to replace the whole thing? also not sure if this in important but i have navigation. 04 g35 6speed. thanks

Can you see the crack, or are you just assuming it's cracked because nothing displays on the screen?

The marketplace will definitely be the easiest way to get a new one, as people who have had their CD changers or other parts go out will be likely to sell one for relatively cheap.

You don't have enough posts to post a new thread in the marketplace, but I think you can respond if one is there. Somebody may PM you with an offer, based on this post, but just be wary of anyone who isn't an established member.

Posting a want-to-buy here in the regular forums is a good way to get your account suspended, so feel free to participate enough that you can use the marketplace more fully.

ya i can see the crack, usually on the subie forums but been around for a while now.

Averaging a post a year it seems.

If you could use '06 controls, I'd sell you my old one, but somebody's bound to have one around, maybe you'll have better luck in a regional forum - not everybody lives in the A/V forum like me.
