CD player not working

My brother changed the battery on my 05 G coupe and now the CD player doesnt work. After Starting the car, or trying to select the cd player its just makes a sound like its cycling through the cds and turns off... any idea on how to fix this?

Perhaps try disconnecting and reconnecting the battery will help, otherwise it's just a bad coincidence I think.

Good excuse for a headunit upgrade though.
