I picked up everything needed for installation of my Pioneer AVH4200DVD, but the goddam company I order the DD finisher is taking effing 3 weeks...I can't wait until the kit comes and I can do my installation

Hey twilight, do you have a diagram to retain dual climate? It's a big debate I'm having right now and if I can get it to work that would be really sweet...

Sorry to go back to the original question that was already answered, but i did have to kind of change the bracket on the DD kit to fit my stock navi. P.S. I'm an 06 sedan so the pop up navi

There's no real diagram, but there is a thread on it somewhere, you just de-solder one of the tiny switches from the stock one and put it on the new one in the same place. Then you transfer the plastic button cap thing from the dash over too.

No unfortunately i didn't take any pics (should have) before it was put in, but the top of the faceplate sticks out just barely compared to where the navi stock navi buttons faceplate is

Just finished installing my P4200 HU today but it goes down very rough and the tilt isn't the way it used to be... is it suppost to be like this or should i take it back to the guys who installed this?

did yo go with the jdm or metra? I used the stupid metra kit with the stock nav and its terrible!!!!!!

i ordered the jdm today! So you’re saying the nav doest move as smoothly as it used too? and how does your dd fit? Are there any major gaps or spaces?

there is a slight gap underneath but i dont mind it AT ALL, im going to call the shop i got it installed and ask them whats going on with the roughness of the navi coming up and going down and the tilt being really rough.. i'll let you know what they say tomorrow, maybe they ****ed up.

damn bro they prob did! I did the entire install myself and i did pretty good for a first timer (minus my rear speakers not working lol) im def looking forward to hearing what’s going on, since we are in the same boat
