Stereo Help

I have the stock dash player Bose CD system and I have a 1000w Kenwood amp with two 12 in Kicker Subs. I have a problem with whenever I turn off my car, the subs just turn on by itself and just blast so loud. I talked to the stereo stores and they said that because I have a stock cd player, it doesn't have a remote on and off button. Is there any way to stop this without buying a new cd player. Any help would be nice.

The Bose amp in your car def has a remote on, that is what you should be using. My wife has an 07 G35 Sedan and I wired it from the amp using the wire diagram and it works exactly like it should. Tie in your remote there. There is a 'How To' for it in a sticky, its for 03-06 sedans but it is the same for the 07. Running another line from the headunit to the amp is not required, just use the existing wiring from the factory amp.

Yea I'm with Hurt Locker on this one, your remote is wired incorrectly. It sounds like it's wired to a constant source and just staying on when your car is off, which might cause battery drain so you should probably disconnect the amp until you fix this problem. Tap into the remote on the Bose amp as stated by Hurt Locker or, worse case, run your remote to your vehicle's accessory wire.
