Can I adjust my nav system?

I just bought an '07 sedan w/nav. sometimes I need to add the address of a place as Im driving however, once the car is moving (even VERY slowly) the nav screens fade out and I must wait till Im at a complete stop.
Any advice?

Thanks,
-J

A safety bypass today, tomorrow you're going to be asking how to get that parked car out of your front bumper.

Seriously, pull over, enter the address, continue driving.

^ What he said.

Honestly it may be an inconvenience for you right now, but imagine the inconvenience you'll face when you rear end the car in front, or worse hit a pedestrian, because you're paying attention to your little screen "even when the car is moving slowly." You're piloting a 2+ ton weapon, which comes with a lot of responsibility.

Car moving slowly = parking lot, stop & go traffic... the most dangerous places to not be paying attention.

At lights is the only time I can input stuff and or pull off the road. But if I had a passenger and they could input stuff that would be awesome.

^ That's part of the reason I went with the Pioneer AVIC-Z110BT - voice input for navigation.
