Please be more specific.

You can't make your headunit send the balanced signal that the Bose amp expects, or compensate for speakers with the wrong resistance.

Right but the question is if he is using the factory Bose speakers aren't they 2 ohm which all radios work off of 4ohms. If he were to use an aftermarket amp then he would be fine.

Factory speakers, and factory amp, all Bose. Basically what I'm saying is that the signal that my aftermarket headunit is putting out needs to be "tweaked" so that the amp will pick it up like it's the factory headunit and I get the sound I'm looking for. I've spent all day researching this harness you suggested and from what I can see It's what I need to make it work the way I want.

If he was hooking the radio directly to the amps wiring there would be an impedance issue. If he is buying the pac adapter then this will correct it and hopefully get back some of that missing bass.

Exactly, ran into a minor hicup, the instructions don't say anything about the +high and +low for each speaker, so I just twisted them together and wired them to the + from the harness coming out of the radio. Other than that it was a breeze, and took little to no adjustment to get better sound than I actually had before with the stock deck, and I'm still using the Bose amp and speakers!
