Question Where to Buy JDM Double din unit & keep OEM Nav

Hey Guys n Gals,

Im looking for a double JDM din console conversion kit for my G35 Coupe 2004 with OEM Nav. I want to keep the OEM nav screen functional because of the service indicators etc.

Anyone know where i can buy one online? Cheers.

To keep OEM nav, you have to go JDM.

If you plan on continuing to use the OEM Nav and are not looking for a new unit with navigation, I'd say Pioneer 3200BT. The 4200DVD is pretty good too, but since it doesn't come with bluetooth, you're going to end up paying quite a bit more to get that feature for an only slightly larger screen. Where it seems more and more locations are requiring hands-free devices for cellphone use, getting a unit with bluetooth is just the smart thing to do.

If you're looking for something more fancy or with navigation, your budget and most important features are necessary to give any recommendation.

Not to jack your thread but this is the only thread that remotely addresses my issue. I have an 03 coupe with factory navi. I did read the "Wrathernaut's Double Din Shopping and Resource List" but I didn't see a part number for the JDM Navigation Style DD kit and the JDM DD kit I did find on eBay the seller said:

"This will still fit even if you have the factory navigation but the factory navi will no longer work" -- ItemId: 320583962179

Can someone provide a part-number i should be looking for or know anyone selling the proper kit so we can have a DD kit and still be able to use factory nav?

Thanks in advance!

Yes, that is the proper item (and a decent price for JDM) if you want to keep navigation in your 03-04.

You can purchase them new for about $20-40 more directly from www.mynismo.com - http://www.mynismo.com/products/?id=4343&rsku=0.

Part Numbers:
27500-0304AC INFINITI G35 2003-2004 AC CONTROL
62860-0304WC INFINITI G35 2003-2004 CONSOLE WILLOW
68260-0304CB INFINITI G35 2003-2004 CONSOLE BLACK
68260-0304TC INFINITI G35 2003-2004 CONSOLE TITANIUM

I also clarified on the shopping list that the parts were for JDM or JDM + Navigation.

And no, you do not need one of the brackets.

^ No.

You don't have to buy a bracket ever, unless you somehow lose or destroy your old one.

Awesome thanks. So you think the kit I posted an eBay link to would work fine with the bracket I have from my stock setup? If its JDM bracket, technically it should work as long as I have the right metal bracket since the metal bracket is whats required to use the factory navi with the jdm plastic piece, right?

Sorry for the stupid questions, I just don't want to be buying parts unless I'm 100% sure they will work. this crap is expensive.
