No, definitely not free. The update from Z110 to Z120 is $200 MSRP, $167 from amazon, but it's so much more than a map update.

On the F90BT, the map update was $100 MSRP, but just $60 for pre-orders, or free if you went the hack route.

I can't vouch for the seller at all, but the price here is very, very right:

so is the Pioneer AVIC Z110BT that good? i am really looking for a good HU to replace the BOSE unit and i hear the Z110BT is good, also you can alter it to play DVD's while moving right?

so is the Z110BT 1 of the best for the buck right now??

Yes, the Z110BT is very good. There's a minor flaw or two (you have press "ok" for maps before your bluetooth phone pairs if you want voice commands to work), but everything else is great.

I would say not only best for buck, but best period. The ones I would with it are the Kenwood 9140 for its superior navigation features (despite the Kenwood's highly inferior voice commands), the X920BT for its updated maps, interface, Pandora Link and non-flip face (good for automatics) and the Z120 (also updated maps, pandora link and updated interface).

Modifying it to play DVDs in motion (For the kids!) is straightforward, but getting the pin out isn't. Cutting it out from the side is the easiest way I found, but you can just order additional pins (see avic411.com for details).

just purchashed a new jdm double din for 212 with the wiring harness (need to verify part number) and antennae.

still need hu, but this kit is staying in storage until the dnx9960 lowers in price.

also, I have a non-bose hu. I want to ugrade the speakers. Will I need to upgrade the amp? What size speakers are in the g35 2006 sedan non-bose?

Where'd you get that price? Somewhere/body reputable I hope.

There is no amp in the non-bose. New speakers will work with it, but you absolutely won't get the full potential out of them without a real amp.
6.75" front and rear in the sedan. 6.5 is the more common size and fits just fine with the zenclosure spacers (required whatever you get) and any 6.5 that isn't from joe's bargun suond is going to have a mounting ring that'll work with them.

some guy on ebay. 100% feedback. Said he sold his car and had never used it. If anything, it's covered by paypal as fraud right?

I'll start looking for an amp and speakers.

pressing OK is fine with me also played with it a little at car toys today and the slide out aint to bad for the Auto's since the CD/DVD tray is at the top and the SD is above middle so if you slide it out only to each it will not bump into the stick which is nice, only if you extend it all the way down and with the "modified Pin" there is no prob if u put it in N or D

i will prob grab one once i get the dash DD from riverside to house it good to hear its one of the best for sure

Remember the upgrade from 110 to 120 is only $167 on amazon, so don't pay $300 more for a 120.

You missed a couple of items -
Scosche trim kit, but installer might have one or equivalent product already.
PAC SWI-PS for steering wheel.
And the "standard" 70-7551 wiring harness (or equivalent) works fine, I have video to prove it.
