I will be doing an install on my coupe and have come down to 2 subs. Im not sure which ones to go with. The first ones are Kicker solobaric L7's 12" The second ones are Diamond M6 12" subs. There will 2 subs in the trunk. I will be running all Diamond components inside and have a Soundstream Davinci amp, cap and eq to round it out. Please let me know what you think is better. I was kinda not leanin toward the L7 just incase down the road I wanna change them out, I would have to get a whole new sub box. Thanks ahead for your input. Keep G'in

 

I bought an S10L7 for my coupe, but it is not hooked up yet. My old car had two Infinity Perfect 12's in it powered by Phoenix Gold and was way too loud. The gains were always turned down on the amp and my sub controls on the stereo were on flat and it was still louder than SH)T. I heard one Kicker S12L7 in a ported box powered by the same amp and it was as loud, maybe even louder. That was when I decided that my next sub would be a Kicker Solo-baric. Not only are they loud as Hell, but they require less air space than most subs leaving more room or trunk space to work with.

i had 1 12" L7 in a ported box in my coupe. i had it running with a Rockford 600.1. let me tell you that it slammed pretty hard. i was very impressed with the 1 L7. kicker is pretty good for spl but it lacks on the sq side.
