removing bose sub

removing bose sub

can anybody tell me how to remove the stock bose sub in a g35 sedan? i see the bolts in the trunk but it looks like its screwed in through the top.

You need to remove the rear deck to get it off. IIRC, you have to remove the rear seats to do that.

14mm socket, deep well 14mm socket, and a wobble helps a ton with removing the seats.

the bose sub speaker cover doesnt come off? im trying to unbolt and remove the sub.

Nope, difficulty of removal of the Bose sub is one of the reasons people don't bother removing it.

I just didn't have time to waste on that endeavor while I was back with my car the last couple of weeks.

Maybe I'll get around to it in another 6 months when we're reunited again.
