I'm just about to install this thing in my G35 coupe and need some advice. Which mode is better, folder or playlist?
The main functionality I want is to be able to switch to the next track using steering wheel controls. Also, if I use the playlist mode but have no playlists, will it just play all the song on my ipod?

All 3 modes use the steering wheel to change tracks. Folder mode lets you do more with it for searching.
