i was wondering if anyone one could help me out here. I have an 07 sedan with bose and i just upgraded the system by changing all the speakers and adding a base and vocal amp but i kept the factory HU. I am now getting engine noise weather the the radio is on or off. I also noticed that if i signal or put the hazards on there is a popping noise from the speakers. has anyone else experienced this and have found a solution, all advice would be greatly appreciated.

Also, is the amp turn-on wire connected right? with the radio off, the amp should be too, and you shouldn't get any noise.

If you're using the same power and grounds the stock amp used... Yeah, big problem there.

 

the amps are on whether the radio is on or off.... i believe the remote wire is connected to the factory bose amp. where am i suppose to connect the remote wires two.

 

If the amp is on and the radio is off (not just muted, turned down, or whatever), and you paid money for this install, take it back. It's installed wrong.

The remote wire can be connected to the bose harness, but it seems like you're connected to the wrong one.
Are the amps off when the car is off? If so, you're probably connected to the ACC wire to the bose amp, not the remote wire.
And again, are you running off the Bose amp's power and ground wires?

 

check your grounds first. are your power wires and audio wires ran together down the same side of car? if so try running the power and audio wires on different sides so they are not touching because you could be getting noise induction from power wires into your audio wires.
