just a QUICK question for anyone that can help...
i was wondering if anyone knew on here or a forum about the "high-level input" for stock decks? ive just recieved my screen, but currently my sub is hooked up to my stock deck, and im gonna try a DIY to hook up the screen. hope that made sense

Re: just a QUICK question for anyone that can help...
Sorry but I don't follow your question?
Currently your sub is hooked up to the stock deck? Directly??
My setup is stock deck going to high level inputs of a 6 channel amp, which then feeds 4 channels into the 2 fronts and 2 rears, and then bridge the last two channels to hit the sub.
Do you have the the bose system? Give us more information on what you have, hopefully that'll help to answer your question

Re: just a QUICK question for anyone that can help
From what I can tell, you're trying to put a double din unit into there... if so, search up double din, there's lots of info out there.

heh what you need is the double-din dash kit from japan and that should cost you around $400, it will make installation smooth and easy but you will have to dump your bose system+mini bose amp. Your ddx "screen" will power your in-car speakers and your 500/1 amp will power your SUB, your reardeck bose speakers will be useless then (but thats a good thing )
Why you need the kit you ask? Because behind the front face of the stock/bose system is a circuit board that run from the bottom of the deck all the way up to the A/C air controls and so you can't just remove one without the other. The $400 double-din kit comes with a new A/C controller (with the buttons) and a big 2-din size hole in the dash (plenty for your ddx unit)
good luck.
