Installed the OEM Nissan iPod adapter in a 2004 G35X. Worked fine for two years. Recently the Bose display stopped refreshing the iPod song. Now the display is blank.

Music plays fine. Unplug the iPod and the Bose radio works fine, display and all. I thought it might be heat related as it started acting up during the a hot weather streak.

Any thoughts? Is the iPod adpater flaking out?
