Difference between prev model and PAC SWI-PSv1

Considering the Pioneer p4200 and states PAC PSv1 required for steering wheel controls. Is the v1 model different than the standard PAC SWI-PS? Has anyone been able to use the standard model on the p4200dvd? thanks in advance

Firmware 1.6.7 added bluetooth
Firmware 1.6.8 added voice command

I'm guessing since dealers rarely specified the firmware, they may have wanted a model number that would be assured to be 1.6.8?

Trying to find a solid answer.

Sonicelectronix seems to be the only one selling the v1 - nothing about it on the PAC audio site - and they specifically mention the voice command in the blog about it, so I'm guessing it's just them wanting to make sure those who need voice command can get that one while everyone else can clear out their inventory of 1.6.7 units.

Since the 4200 has no voice command function, you'll be fine with either the 1.6.7 or 1.6.8

Save yourself a few dollars and buy the swi-ps from amazon.com
