possible to hook up a subwoofer with stock equip?

Is it possible to have a subwoofer in conjunction with the stock stereo system?

i suppose you could also run your pos and neg off the sub to the rear speaker, but it would be all lyrics and not much bass coming out of the sub...

We did that to my friends Altima to see what it would sound like, it actualy wasnt all that bad, it had bass but the voice from the sub wasnt cool, but hey thats wat i expected
