there is a sticky at the top of the forum for the "shopping list".

You can upgrade to the DD. I believe the NAV runs on a unit.

No problem, and good luck with the install.

You have to hack the + and - audio output from the factory nav brain. Then feed it as an aux in to the radio. The sound quality is diminished and no radio will not switch to the aux input automatically when a command is given out of the nav. Get a double din radio with nav if you would like voice prompts and then use the top screen as a info source center using something like the greddy e-manage?? system.

I have a complete wiring diagram for using a relay to auto-switch to voice in my shopping/resource guide.

Sound quality doesn't diminish, it will switch to the voice automatically. It only requires that you have an amp powering the speakers.

Perhaps a retainer for the accumulated knowledge of this forum is more accurate.

Well, that and some minor electrical engineering knowledge to put together diagrams to help out.
