what does a new HU do in terms of sound quality? also, would that amp would with the stock HU? srrry im super noob with audio, all i want is more bass out of the stock system, and i've read just tweaking EQ settings using an amp could help alot

 

upgrading the amp and speakers will do just that. Its really the bose amp that restricts our systems. i upgraded my head unit to the f90bt and immeditately heard better sound. i was planning on upgrading the whole system (obviously...lol) but furnishing my new apartment is a little more important right now. its too bad because this was going to be a banging system too....oh well!

 

is this amp compatible with the stock hu?
