Its OEM douch3 juice. I can vouch for this product i have it and i love it. I did the install myself and its awesome. For the new iphones and ipod touches you will need a little scosche passport adapter so it can charge and play at the same time. BUMP

Well d1ck face your right the unit does plug up to the trunk but the cable is long enough to reach the shifter where my iPhone 4 is so pow. I will take pics if your pondering how can it be in your pea size brain. I can provide you pics of my install!
