What's up guys? Ok I just wanted to find out it anyone else has/had this problem. first off I don't have any factory warranty left and I hope this is a easy fix, so over the weekend I let my friend use my car, I got it back last night and wanted to drive to the store to pick up a few things. So as I got in the car I tried to adjust my seat/steering wheel it would not move from the settings he changed. Now I am stuck driving my car in his settings which is uncomfortable for me due to the fact that I am way taller then him. Can anyone help me with this problem? Btw I have a clicking sound coming from both relay's and I really don't think it is the motor's because its two separate things but then again I don't know. I have a 2005 coupe.

Sounds like the friend needs to pay for whatever the dealer charges.

If the passenger seat doesn't move, the problem could be at the body control module.

It possible though, that a fail-safe got set, and it could be solved by disconnecting the battery for about 10min to re-set it.

 

Thanks wrath but my friend doesn't have money like that but thats beside the point. The passanger side seat works just fine as well as the steering controls. Just the driver seat and the power steering tilt switch does not work. I will definitely try to reset the battery tonight, hopefully that'll fix my problem but I doubt it.

Is the memory position switch stuck at a halfway point?
