Installing an aftermarket deck, can I leave my aftermarket sub setup as is?

Hey guys, for a few years now I've had the factory stereo feeding an aftermarket speaker amp which in turn sends a signal to an aftermarket sub amp (just a pass through I'm guessing, and then the sub amp works its LPF magic). My HVAC/Stereo panel has finally bit the dust as they all do and I've ordered the Metra double din kit, wiring harness, antenna adapter and an aftermarket dvd/cd/radio unit. Like most (if not all) aftermarket stereo's, the one I ordered has a sub out connection. My question is, can I simply remove the factory stereo, plug in the new one and expect it all to work or do I have to make some other changes? Will my sub work just fine or do I need to run a sub wire and pull apart the seats/trim (rather avoid this).

Assuming they ran off the line in side of the Bose amp (sounds like they knew what they were doing, and did) then using the 70-7551 harness will send it back over the factory wires and keep everything exactly as you have it.

However.

If you're putting in an aftermarket unit, you might as well benefit from using the dedicated subwoofer channel and run your own RCAs to the rear. Send it through the center console, shove a 1 foot stick or some fish tape with the RCAs tied to it to get it through the top of the hump and under the rear seats. From there, you just put it between the insulation and the metal of the rear seats, and you're there.
