Did just a front door speaker change about a year ago to Infinity Ref speakers to my sedan, I have the seven speaker
Bose system, I was very pleased at the time but now I want
to turn it up a notch by driving those speakers with a 2 channel Infinity amp model 7520A, the amp has high level
input but my question is do I need a level out converter (LOC)
or not with this amp...some say yes and some say no hence
my confusion..

NO u do not need an LOC. Either buy a wire that has rca's on one side and 4 leads comming out the other side, or simply cut off all the rca's on one end and connect. Just make sure u put ur amp input level to high. god luck

 

if your amp is anything like mine (see sig), which I'd guess it is, then all you have to do is splice wires and put them into the amp's high level inputs.

My amp doesn't have a switch to switch between high and low level, but rather one set of inputs is for line level (RCA inputs), and one set is for high level (spliced wires). You can even have both playing at the same time, and it "mixes" them... I don't think it's good for the amp, so I never do it, but it does work.

Oh and right now I have my head unit's outputs going directly to the amp, and then to all of my speakers, and it sounds awesome.
