Exclamation Several problems with audio, need some help!

Recently I bough 03 G35 Sedan, After a while my CD changer quit working with "CD ERR FO", spend couple of days reading articles - realized that it is pretty common problem. Took apart dash, extracted CD Changer, Found CD that was stuck inside, tried to fix it but that didn't work out.
I don't want to spend money on aftermarket dash kit + head unit, so I'm looking for inexpensive solution, basically I would like to hard wired AUX 3.5 mm in to the head unit, or just to get iPod/iPhone interface. My car doesn't have Sat button. So I wasn't sure which one I need, I already spend around 4 days going thru articles, and now I just decided to ask for advice from professionals. i would like to go with hard wiring AUX, but if it's too much pain in the a** I would just go with iPod connector. I found some really old thread about hardwiring on some forum, but the guide was too old and it would not display pixs due to outdated picture hosting...
Thank you for your time, and I apologize if I missed a thread with a solution.

P.S. Please no comments like "Use search button", etc. Thank you!

Well you see the problem is that minimum price for used OEM radio is 300, and plus I don't wanna end up with the same problem.
Any more advices?

If you don't want to end up with the problems of the OEM radio, get rid of it.

If you read as much as you said you did, you're realize that CD ERR FO is only one of about 4 major problems with the radio. Save yourself the trouble and frustration of "fixing" this problem only to have one of the other one pop up.

You can go metra aftermarket with a single-din radio for under $300, including the steering wheel controls, so long as you do the labor yourself.

$99: Trim Kit - After adding the radio to your cart, select your interior color for the discounted trim kit.

$Free: Antenna adapter
$Free: Wiring harness

$42:
Metra Axxess ASWC Metra Axxess ASWC
to keep the steering wheel controls

With the ASWC, you connect like four wires, that's it.

Yes, Metra includes the A/C, and I believe all the sponsors for this board sell the JDM trim with the JDM A/C Controls.

Just wanted the OP to realize that wasn't included in the setup you were nice enough to post for him.

We can make a square peg fit into a round hole but it takes $$$.

No, the trim kit with A/C controls is in that list I was nice enough to post.

The $99 Metra Kit (discounted when you buy the $150+ headunit from crutchfield) has the a/c controls.

The list was a complete replacement for a non-bose system, nothing left out.

If you have a Bose system, you need to add the PAC ROEM-NIS2, which adds another $40 or so.
