Specs (http://www.tvandnav2go.com/infiniti_...ifications.php)
The TVandNav2Go RGB Nav Video interface module is our most popular product and it works with the majority of today's vehicles. This video module is the easiest way to interface a video source such as a DVD Player, TV Tuner, Reverse Backup Video Camera, iPod Video, Video Game Console, PC with composite output or other video source directly to your Nissan/Infiniti OEM GPS Navigation LCD screen / LCD Display. The RGB features dual composite video inputs, one of which can be activated automatically when shifting the vehicle into reverse (usually used with a back-up camera).
The TVandNav2Go RGB is an externally wired plug and play RGB converter interface that is installed inline of the GPS navigation computer in your Nissan/Infiniti vehicle and LCD screen; it works simply by interrupting the RGB video signal from your GPS navigation computer when you flip a toggle switch or activate 12V on the reverse camera line. When this occurs the GPS navigation system video image will be replaced by the video input that is connected to the TVandNav2Go RGB module.
The TVandNav2Go RGB is a video only input interface module, which means an FM modulator, FM transmitter or CD changer audio input interface adapter needs to be used to connect the audio signal from your external AV source to your audio system if your vehicle does not have an auxiliary input already available. The TVandNav2Go RGB is video-in-motion enabled, so the video image will stay on the screen even with the car in motion (however we do not recommend or endorse this).
Vehicle Specific Installation Information:
This kit includes the TVandNav2Go RGB module and a plug and play wiring harness that features factory Nissan/Infiniti OEM connector that plugs into the navigation computer on the back of the factory navigation screen.
Simply plug the vehicles OEM wiring harness into one end of the wiring harness provided with the TVandNav2Go RGB module, then plug the other end of the TVandNav2Go RGB harness into the location where the vehicles wiring harness was. Then connect 12V power, ground and backup camera connector (if required). The installation is really that simple! Since the unit is plug and play and only requires extra wiring for 12V and ground, it will not void your vehicles factory warranty!
Please note that the RGB unit works with any NTSC video output device and with most PAL devices, some European PAL DVD players and PAL TV Tuners have reportedly been incompatible resulting in a vertical shift of the image. However, many European video devices give the option to output in NTSC mode, eliminating any potential problems.
***THAT IS NOT A CRACK ON THE UNIT ITS JUST THE STICKER THAT HAS PEELED A BIT***
