New guy here. Just purchased an '05 G35 automatic with non-bose HU and non-nav. Want to keep the stock look of the radio but am told by my stereo installers that the non-Bose HU does not have the ability to do ipod. What about the Bose HU? Does it have ipod upgradeability? Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks, Andy

Bose or Non-bose, you have many options, but the best way, since the factory headunits are extremely prone to failure, is to get an aftermarket headunit installed.

The iPod support of aftermarket headunits is worlds above the best iPod adapters, and when the factory headunit dies (which it will) you won't be with a useless adapter.
