so my car is at the shop about to put on the double din 4300dvd the shop told me i could use the direct iphone/ipod control with CD-IU200V cable, what if i want to use it with other phones and mp3 players? is there an option?

or i can get the CD-IU200v cable and install an addition AUX 3.5mm cable? what should i do, please help

 

CD-IU200v is only for iPod/iPhone.

To use other devices, use the other RCA auxiliary inputs with adapter cables, or bluetooth streaming if that's supported by your device.

^ It's a cord: You got a 3.5mm jack on one side (what you hook up to your external device) and the red and white RCA's on the other side. The red and white RCA's plug into the input on the back of the 4300. The 4300 does have an 3.5 aux jack, but part of the IU200v cable uses that jack.
