Help with installing amp on 2006 G35 non-bose
I have recently purchase a 2006 G35 sedan with the non-bose factory radio. I would like to keep the stock radio but improve the sound quality. I have several questions I hope someone here has experience with. I have already purchased these items.
JBL GTO5355 - 5 Channel Amp
Boston Acoustics SC60 components-Front
Boston Acoustics SC65 - Rear
Boston Acoustic G3 Sub - no box yet
1. Will a signal proccessor such as a JL Cleansweep, MTX re-Q5, or other work and improve sound quality. If so any harness needed. If not what exact items are best for factory radio to JBL GTO5355
2. Will a farad cap be worth the expense and any suggestion on a good quality amp kit that will support 2 amps when I upgrade. Suggestion on quality cap.
3.Suggestion on good quality box for G3 would like to keep as much trunk space as possible without breaking the bank.
Any help on any of these question or other suggestions will be greatly appreciated! Thanks amueller633

1. I wouldn't say necessary. I'd save that money for upgrading the headunit later, as that would give a better sound quality improvement, and your stock radio is due to fail anytime now.
2. Caps aren't worth anything unless you're scoring points for looking cool. Any 0/1 gauge wiring kit with enough wire will do fine. I used a Tsunami dual amp kit, and it's done very well for me.
3. The only sedan box that really keeps your trunk space will break the bank - http://www.mysosinc.com/box_inf_gsedans_G35.html
