new radio..need help

new radio..need help

I am changing my stock bose radio out for a single din pioneer radio.I have all the wires an harnesses conected.but im not getting any sound from the rear speakers. please help

Some pioneer radios with only 4 channels default the rear speakers to subwoofer instead of full range, so it'll sound like you're not getting anything.

Without knowing which model you have, I can't tell you the exact procedure, just look through the manual that came on the CD with the headunit, or look it up on Pioneer's site.

Thanks..i played with the settings an got them to work,but now its seems like when i turn the volume all the way up in the new radio its not as loud as it use to be..

Yeah, volume issue is common when you don't use the ROEM-NIS2 but keep the Bose amp connected - differential balanced signal incompatibilities.
