Hello G35 forum, I am a newb forum member with a question hopefully an audio guru on here can help with. I had a Kenwood DNX9960 installed at a local shop recently, and everything has been OK so far, except for the fact that I only pick up around 2 or so radio stations. What gives? I wan't to go back and have the guy take care of it, and possibly recommend what it is they need to correct, (with your assistance of course
)

Probably didn't connect the wire to the antenna amp. It uses the wire for the power antenna.
Is this a wire that should be in the car originally, or some sort of part I need to buy? I forgot to mention I have aftermarket amps installed if that matters.

Yep, it's in the car originally.
Your installer probably just figured since you don't have a power antenna, they didn't need to use that wire. If it's connected, they should put the antenna amp directly to the power antenna wire, and let the factory amp be connected to the cigarette lighter for its power signal.
Just take it back.

Thanks a lot, I'll be sure to point that out to the installer. Btw, great job on the dd shopping thread of yours. Resourced many times in my journey to my desired audio setup!
