Ok so i finally got all the parts i needed for my bose replacement build and now just want a quick confirmation before i start this and realize i screwed up. I got an avh4300 and an alpine pdx5 so it will be running my speakers and my sub.

I bought the metra 70-7550 and will be running rcas from the HU to the amp in the back is this correct so far? The reason i ask is i saw a lot of threads about noise with the 70-7550 but i wasnt sure if that is just using the HU to power the speakers.

Now from just eyeballing this i wont be connecting any speaker wires at the HU side correct? I should be connecting the outs on the new amp and splice into the outs on the old non used bose amp? Or do i need to run new speaker wires from the amp to the doors?

The noise with the 70-7550 was when using it and continuing to use the Bose amp. You're replacing the amp, so that is not an issue.

You'll run RCAs from the 4300 to the new amp, you can splice the output from the new amp to the wiring to existing wiring from the (unused) bose amp to the speakers. You could run your own wire, but I don't recommend it.

i am in the same position. i have eveything sittin on the bedroom floor. i want to use the old wires from the bose amp but i am unsure of witch wires i will use. i have found schematics on here but there are so many diff wires that im not really sure witch to use. i have an 05 coupe with bose without navigation. any help would be greatly aprreciated
