I just got one in the mail recently and it comes default as a single din. For my double din install i had to cut out the middle bar to make it accept a dd unit. So, yes, you should be able to do that.

x2

I got the Metra turbo^2 dash kit for my 04 Sedan and i ran with Single Din for 2 and a half years until last night, when I removed the kit, cut out the middle bar, installed the plastic side brackets (DO NOT MISPLACE THOSE OR YOU'LL HAVE TO GET THEM FROM ANOTHER MEMBER ON THE FORUMS LIKE I DID!), and then I installed my new double-din nav system. Also, don't misplace the double-din whatchamacallit ... trim piece

Your kit will come with everything you need to do single din, double din, or iso din (wtf?). Just keep all the pieces in a safe place (like the box it came in) so you can make adjustments accordingly as the occasions arrise.

lol yea thanks again man. the trim piece was actually warped, so it's unusable, but those brackets worked perfectly
