I usually police up questions like this, but have been gone doing field training lately, so

Anyway, it's likely you will have to, unless your installer had the foresight to pull the RCA terminals (if attached via wires) down into the large space beneath the headunit. Most RCA pre-outs are usually part of the rear of the headunit (not attached via wires), which will require removing the headunit to access.
Most of the RCA terminals that *are* attached via wires and could be pulled down, however, are the auxiliary inputs or video output terminals, so even if you can see some, it's unlikely they are what you're looking for.
