I got my DD all installed except the XM radio input. Does anyone know what I need to use my factory xm tuner?

Use it for what? A paperweight? No problem, just use a screwdriver to remove it.
Use it as an XM radio receiver with the new radio? Good luck with that - You'll just need an advanced electrical degree to reverse-engineer the communications that control the factory XM receiver and build a device to translate signals between the factory XM receiver and the new DDin headunit.

Well that is unfortunate. My second question is now that msn direct will stop service at the end of the year is: Does anyone know if the AVIC systems are going to pick up support for XM traffic and weather info?

The Z130BT has a new traffic receiver in it, but I didn't see anything about support for XM traffic and weather.
