I have a 2003 G35 Coupe. Today, when I started my car and turned on my radio/CD, I heard a lot of muffled noise and static coming out of my rear speakers. When I turned the system off, the loud static continues. It only stops when I turn off the car completely.

Any ideas what the issue could be, and any possible solutions?

 

I would literally slap the face of the deck...

seriously... it should fix your problem.

 

Could be the factory amp going out too.

But yeah, the factory amp and headunit both die fairly often, so best to replace them both.
