Is there anything else I need? Obviously, judging by the Head Unit choice, I'm not looking to set the car audio world on fire. Just need a working stereo again. I do want to hook up my iPod/iPhone, do I need a special cable for this?

Lame questions, I know. This is the first time I've messed with aftermarket audio since the 90's, so take pity on me, lol. Thanks in advance for any guidance.

 

You'll want the Scosche universal trim ring to go with the 2300, otherwise you'll end up with gap like this:
