Hello everyone,

I wanted to know if the Metra kit for a 2005 will fit a 2003 G35? Whats the difference? I noticed the AC control face has the dual button on it? Is the wiring completely different on the AC control face or does the Metra faceplate not fit?

If that is the case could I get my OEM faceplate dremeled to fit a double din and use the 2005 Metra AC controls on my 2003?

Hopefully the wiring techs on here can answer this one? I wanted to know since a friend of mine has the 2005 metra kit for a G35 and will give it to me saving me some money if it will fit??

As for the rest of it... get a job and buy your own 2005 metra kit, or do it right and buy a JDM kit.

The frustration/time saved and quality of the and end result will definitely make it worth it.

 

Wish you were local...You seem to know a lot about audio stuff. Would pay the $$$ for you to do it. Thanks for all your help

 

Well, if a drive out to historic Savannah is in your plans, I'm just a few minutes away

And I don't take $$$ for it. You just buy the lunch to eat during the install and I'm good.
