if u know ur wire schematic u should be ok. if u dont, then everything u do is at ur own risk. i took mine out to have a car pc in replaced n also did a double din. if u want an adventure i say do it.

that would make my unit "joystick less" beat the purpose of the sale thread.

it wouldnt beat the purpose of it... its is still fully functional w/o the joystick

what do u mean it doesn't have the trim piece, you talking about the grey plastic surrounding the whole thing? and no head unit?
