Bad radio reception.

Hello everyone,

Has anyone had this issue with their stock radio? Recently I added a subwoofer to my '04 G35 coupe and after it was done, I noticed that my radio reception was not as good. I thought it might be the location but as I drove around, the reception did not improve. Before the sub and amp addition, the reception was fine. Any remedy to improve the radio reception?

It's possible that your amp-turn-on wire is drawing enough power from the factory radio's circuit for the antenna, that the antenna amp cannot turn on. You can try swapping the amp turn-on wire to use the cigarette lighter's +12v wire instead of one from the radio.
