First Post, proud owner since 01/2006, G35.

Just got my Metra kit (wrapped it in carbon fiber....looks pretty nice) and Pioneer avh deck.
Can you replace the rubber buttons on the metra kit with the original HU buttons? I have been reading posts all day about it, but i may have skimmed through that because im currently "working".

 

apparently you can't even if you tried replacing just the buttons it would not work. The clips to keep the buttons in place are different than the OEM HU. Correct me if I am wrong, but I am pretty sure I read that somewhere.

If you want JDM buttons, you gotta go JDM all the way.
