Volume Problems after Double Din install

Good Morning, this might have been covered already but i did a search and came up lost and am having some issues i have a 2003 Sedan i installed a Double Din Pioneer w/ Nav and everything has seemed to work fine. but i have noticed that the volume does not turn up that loud even when i turn it up to 62 it is fairly quiet and was wondering if this is due to the stock Bose system going in to a "Safe Mode" or something. if you can direct me to the right link or page or thread or simply answer my question i would be greatly appreciative* Thank you. p.s. a local stereo shop that installed the unit said they can fix it for an extra fee so i told them to well "f off" because they should have fixed that when they installed it, i heard it when they first fired it up and sounded loud enough in the "Shop" but well everything seems louder inside a building so any help would be grateful -Matthew

You should never have driven the car from the shop with an unsatisfactory install.

Check the list of parts used and post it here so we can see if they used a ROEM-NIS2 or equivalent adapter, or just the standard wiring harness.

So the ROEM-NIS2 harness must be used? and if the audio shop used any other harness it would cause this? If this is the case then this pisses me off! but i see that your cars have aftermarket head units so i imagine you know what your talking about! thank you so much but if you could help me any more i would greatly appreciate it! btw how do i get my steering wheel controls back?
